Welcome to the Accidental Artist

If you'd told me when I was a child that I would be an artist I would have said: "No way, I want to be a princess".  Fast-forward a number of years later... I have developed a passion for making a mess on a canvas. Thank you for stopping by and visiting my brain. 

Every piece starts as an adventure depending on my particular mindset, the personality of the client I am creating for, or even the weather. Each idea comes in to focus bit by bit - taking on many incarnations as it evolves on the canvas. As soon as the piece gives me a feeling that matches the subject - I know it's complete!

I use many different mediums and materials.  I love using bold colours and big textures. Primarily my pieces are large format canvases created using acrylics, pastels, resins and other things I find in my travels.
